Privacy Policy

The short version

Willow does not collect anything about you. It has no account to sign into, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and it does not send anything to a server run by Ujvary Design. Your soundscapes and your settings stay on your device.

Head tracking

Willow uses your device’s motion sensors — including the sensors in supported headphones — so that when you turn your head, the sound stays where it was placed.

Motion is used the instant it arrives, to work out which way you are facing, and then it is gone. It is not recorded, not saved, and not sent anywhere. iOS and macOS ask your permission before Willow can use these sensors, and you can withdraw it at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Motion & Fitness.

Your soundscapes

Weaves are files on your device. Willow reads them from your collection and from files you open yourself. It does not upload them, index them anywhere, or report which ones you play.

Purchases

Willow is free to download and comes with soundscapes you can play in full. The Pro unlock is a one-time purchase, and Apple handles the payment. Ujvary Design does not receive your card details, your name, your address or your Apple Account — only Apple’s confirmation that the purchase belongs to your device. Apple’s own privacy policy covers what Apple does with that transaction.

Crash reports

If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your device’s Privacy & Security settings, Apple may pass on crash reports and usage statistics. Apple aggregates these before Ujvary Design sees them, and they do not identify you. Turning that setting off stops it.

Changes to this policy

Optional iCloud sync for your collection is planned for a future version. It is not in the app today, and nothing syncs. If it ships, your weaves would be stored in your own iCloud account rather than anywhere belonging to Ujvary Design — and this page will be updated to say so before that version is released. The date at the top will change with it.
